Stayed overnight before going overseas. I have stayed here before. I was impressed then and it has gotten even better for its price range. The rooms are newly renovated, the staff is exeptionally helpful and welcoming and despite the very bad reputation it had prior to 2009 is fanatstic value for money. $120 a night, free parking, great views of the Swan River and Perth and close to the city. Has a bar which I founfg a bit pricy but also pretty coszy. Get in quick before the price goes up. I will be a repeat customer.

We stayed for 3 nights in a refurbished room which was clean; fresh towels each day & beds made each day. Could have done with a hand towel though. Bed comfortable. The view from our balcony was great with beautiful sunsets & city lights view. Good 37" plasma tv on wall & plenty of wardrobe space. Bar fridge in room & tea/coffee making facilities. Good location, away from city noise, a quick 5 minute drive to city centre & harbour sights. Close to petrol station, 'junk food' outlets & great walking/cycling right alongside Swan River. Good to have free parking too.

I have just moved within walking distance to the metro, so decided to take my family there to dinner on saturday night and it was very quiet and child friendly. Food and service were good.
